Hard hats, The Ox and Saga Norén

So, I don’t think I’ve mentioned this on here before but we (husbondo and I) are about to build our own house. Not with our own bare hands of course, that would be mental, rather attempt to organise other people with actual proper skills to build our house. Yours truly is project managing. It’s strange that I haven’t talked about it before because if you were to meet me, it’s pretty much the only thing I talk about besides flowers. Well, that and telly. Or more specifically, The Bridge. Obsessed. Anyway, life has become a glamorous mix of budgets, schedules, builders, architects drawings and for sanity... flowers of course.

I took part in my first editorial shoot recently. Two exquisite venues in central Bristol and some very talented women made for a fantastic day and some gorgeous images.

The Milk Thistle, my favourite cocktail bar in Bristol, is intriguingly hidden away behind an unassuming black door (only the hipsters know which one) and The Ox is Bristol's newest, most stylish spot for steak and champagne. Both are deliciously dark with moody lighting, dark walls, wood paneling and stuffed animals aplenty. If you find yourself in Bristol, check them out. Just bring some form of GPS.
